Product Details
Philips BYV96E series fast soft recovery diode- 1000v/1.5 amp-
easier to use axial leads- limited quantities. Now discontinued by
Philips, this axial style of diode makes for easier use than the more
common TO220 case versions by IXYS & IR.
We have used these to rectify B+ up to 425v @ 200ma.  per leg with no ill
effects in tube power amplifiers. Silver is used in
the lead weld connections.
 
This device can be run up to 3 amps as stated on some Philips data sheets.
