Our thinking:
Basic Audio Cables are a less is more design, having the signal run through less conductor, less insulation and less heavy connectors. Insulation is audio friendly thin walled teflon, connectors both RCA and XLR use low mass electrical conductors.
How it happens:
Neutrik XLR's allow us to adjust and tighten female connectors for a solid electrical connection, a feature available on very few brands (most contacts come factory sealed).
RCAs are thin wall conductive brass barrels with a gold plated split center in for better contact integrity. Type A have traditional outside ground grips which we tighten to assure good contact even with under spec Chinese made female RCA's. Type B RCA's have a spring loaded ground system that gives compensates for any female RCA connector made. The type B are shown on the right side picture.
